This week we are going to a slightly different place. Sava crepes is more of a cafe style establishment than the typical restaurant that I typically review. I personally love crepes so when I walked past this place I couldnt resist to try it. This week I am taking you all to the Sava Crepes located on 2674 Yonge St and the nearest TTC is Lawrence station. Sava crepes currently has two locations in the GTA area!

Value & Vibe
Value: I would say that for a meal crepes typically lean on a more expensive side. But the higher cost also might be associated with the typicaly premium that you might see at a cafe versus a restaurant. The crepes price starts at $10.75 to $18.75
Vibe: Relatively small space inside with a few outside tables. It was still relatively cold when I went so most of the people sit inside. We went on Sunday late afternoon so its not as crowded but there are only a few small tables available so plan accordingly!

Taste
We tried two crepes this week, one savory and one sweet!
First the savory crepes, I got the Creamy Turkey. The main crepe stuffing includes turkey breast, bacon, brie and mushroom. Overall the crepes flour was excellent! Thin but still firm enough that its not breaking apart. The combination between the brie and mushroom was nice. However, the stuffing was fairly light so I think for a nice snack, it would be great! But wouldn’t quite fill you up for a meal.

The second one, we got the Lemon Cream crepe. Fairly simple with the main ingredients of lemon, butter and sugar. Nice contrast between the sweet and sour from the lemon cream and the soft and warming crepes.

As an extra I also got a tea. Nothing too special about this one but it was a nice complement to the meal.

Overall, I would say the crepes was definitely good! I would love to come back to try out more crepe dishes. However, in term of the topping/stuffing, it is definitely fairly light compare to some of the other crepes spots so it is more of a snack rather than a meal for me! But I think this would be a great place to stop by for quick nacks!
